Another day....

Another dollar...

It's been interesting to say the least with juggling the house and the kids being out of school. I really should blog more, maybe I wouldn't be so stressed!!

Well...I forgot the most important thing!

OMG! I can't believe I forgot to mention that I finally moved out of the old house! No more cracked walls, rotting floor boards, shifting foundation, not getting things fixed, no more asshole landlords and no more mold...HALLEUJIAH!

I couldn't be happier with the new house! It's bigger and better!

AND I met my brother for the first time! Yea, it means I met my dad too. He's nothing to sneeze over, but Richie is awesome; He and I are alot alike, it's almost scary. I got on a plane! I went down to NC to meet him, had an awesome time. I shot a gun! It was a weekend of many firsts. Me, Jeremy and Richie got along great, almost like we grew up together, though we didn't. We look alot alike and have some of the same ticks, it's scary.

I just downloaded the app for my iphone for blogger, so I will hopefully be able to update more often. :D

Have a great day readers!

Leslie

Back and better than ever!

I have sorely lacked in blogging, so i am going to try to be better now.  I have to work on a schedule which allows me time for me and everything else i have to do.

First, I'll start off with I lost 40 lbs.  I have fluctuated a little (gained some, lost some) for YEARS!  Moving from that piece of crap house and organizing the house by myself was a big help to me for weight loss (up and down the stairs constantly).  My last weigh in on the Wii Fit board was 5/1/0/2012 and i weighed in at 202.  I walked 2 nights in a row, and today I plan on doing some Wii Fit.  I really need to start making time for ME and MY activities.

Kids are good, as we have all had our ups and downs.  I will tell you, there was nothing better than last night when i took the kids shopping and they were all joking and laughing.  I <3 those times.

Cj is still in therapy, 4 days a week, 17 hours total.  We got a formal diagnosis of PDD-NOS.  Every day is a struggle but we have our good days and bad days too.

Other than that, same old same old.  :D

Tempus Fugus......(Time Flies!!)

WOW....It's been so long since I have been here!  I feel bad about that.  There is so much that has happened....let's see...my last real update was when Corey and I split up.....Well, that was 10/2010.  I couldn't be happier!  I am still with Jeremy...thru all of our ups and downs, I coudn't be happier with him either :D

Things with me and the kids are pretty same-old, same-old.  I can't complain there either.

new things that happened!  I started going back to school again for my bachlors degree in Accounting!  FINALLY!  I know it's been so long since I have been in school, and this school i am going to is all online, so it's quite the challenge....I have to make sure I am keeping myself disciplined enough to stay on track...we just started week 5 and so far so good. :D

I made a new year's resolution to blog more, both here and on Ghetto Row Gourmet.  Here's to a new year!

Christmas

So, for the most part, I had a great Christmas, but it all came crashing down when my kids pulled out a homemade present they made for Daddy....:(  I mean, maybe it's a little petty but here's what I have noticed....u know i never complain about gifts, esp because since the separation, corey never took them out for me for my birthday, the kids never made anything for me.  I put it up to being busy with schoolwork, ya know?  But it was completely different for Corey, his birthday, they were all ready for making him stuff....i figured, birthday, whatever, ya know?well....the same happened for christmas....they made stuff for Corey, and nothing for me.  It just hurt a little, ya know?  It makes me doubt myself and what I am doing, and maybe that they don't love me...idk, it just is a sore subject for me I guess...I get that because he's the out of the house Daddy, he would get more....idk....

But the kids had a great time....they got almost everything they wanted for christmas :)

Ok....Maybe this time....

Maybe this time, I am back for good....so much has happened in the last year, going from splitting up with Corey (exactly a year and a day ago) to homeschooling the girls this school year and much more.

So...Corey and I hadn't been getting along, as many of you guys know....and I just couldn't do it anymore.  So, even though he didn't like it, I asked him to leave the house and he did. Now, I won't say that I don't miss who he used to be sometimes, but he's just not that guy anymore, and that was one of the problems.  Money was another one.  But, anyway....It has been difficult, being Corey's not been the most supportive.  But I *think* we have come to an understanding.  I tried to be friends with him and it didn't work.  So I don't really communicate with him unless I have to.  It really has been for the best.  Me and the girls are closer, and there is less fighting and arguing.  The girls and I get along better now.

I started seeing someone too.  His name is Jeremy.  Things are awesome with us.  ;)

Homeschooling with the girls....defentally interesting....they defentally keep me on my toes.  there are a few times (a day...lol  j/k) where i wonder if i bit off a little more than I could chew, but I remember that this is the best choice, considering all that happened.  :)

Cj is doing well too...He is going to be transitioning to the IU #21, and while it's a good thing, it brings up a whole lot of "what could I have done differently, what could I do differently" questions.  Did the separation set him back?  You know what I mean.  Of course, I look at all of the progress he has made:  speaking at all, for instance, saying more and more and speaking sentences!  It's not always audible, but he talks!  His developmental levels are the same as last year, except in his speech catagory, according to Early Intervention.  I worry about his sleeping patterns sometimes, because he doesn't like to go to bed, unless I am in the room with him and he's doing his pinching thing, but he's always done that.  Sometimes it takes me 3+ hours to get him to bed....ugh....But....I am trying to work with him on that.  :)

So....That's my story....and I am sticking to it. :)

Hopefully I can post my randomness and get back to my Ghetto Row Gormuet.  ;)
